1. Download alat from Google Play or the Apple App Store by simply searching “alat” or visit their website www.alat.ng, sign up with your BVN and phone number.
Don’t worry, your BVN is safe, it will not be used against you. ALAT is a WEMA bank project and it is secured by CBN.
To check your BVN number on your mobile, dial *565*0# and it will pop up.

2.Fill in your details correctly, sign in a plain paper and snap it to update your signature.

Reps query INEC over duplication of items

The House of Representatives’ Committee on Electoral Matters, yesterday, queried Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, over the duplication of items provided for in the 2018 budget for the 2019 polls. The committee chaired by Aisha Dukku (APC-Gombe) queried the rationale behind the huge budget proposal, observed that most of the subheads captured in the N189.2 billion were contained in the N45.5 billion approved budget for INEC. Total sum of N45.5 billion as proposed by President Muhammadu Buhari was approved by the National Assembly. Further findings showed that details of the INEC expenditure was given in the 2018 Appropriation Act signed into law by President Buhari. The Nigerian Police is probing the death of Bilyamin Bello by his wife in FCT, Abuja. The said Bilyamin is son of one time minister and ex PDP Chairman, Dr Bello Haliru. The suspect (wife) is a daughter of  Hajia Maimuna Aliyu, former Aso Savings boss. Investigation has commenced by The FCT Police Command. “The case has been transferred to the Homicide Section for discreet investigation,” spokesman Anjuguri Manzah stated in a text message last night. The suspect is being detained by the police while the deceased was buried yesterday after the Janazar prayer at the Central Mosque in Abuja. Maryam was taken to her residence by homicide detectives for a search, fingerprints and forensic investigation. She was saved from being mobbed by angry siblings and relatives of the deceased husband. Clinging to her seven-month old baby girl, Maryam, who looked remorseful, burst into tears after being led into the flat where she allegedly killed her husband.
